Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX Offices
The University of Michigan is committed to providing safe ways for all community members to report discrimination and misconduct to the Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX Office (ECRT). ECRT connects people to supportive measures, resources, and multiple resolution options. Sharing information with ECRT allows the university to address misconduct on Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses and at Michigan Medicine. Reporting is private but not confidential.
All members of the U-M community are encouraged to report sexual and gender-based misconduct to the university, to the police, or both.
